Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026. This policy explains what information CreditGod.Online collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. Because we handle sensitive financial data, your privacy is central to how we operate.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the CreditGod.Online website, applications, and services (the "Service"). It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), mailing address, date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security number. We never collect or store your full Social Security number.

Credit & dispute information: the negative items, creditors, account types, amounts, and notes you enter, along with the dispute letters and statuses we generate for you.

Communications: messages you exchange with our AI manager (AXIS) and any messages you send us through the Contact form.

Payment information: processed by Stripe. We receive limited details such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, and payment status — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Technical information: log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and usage activity collected automatically when you use the Service.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to: (a) provide and operate the Service, including analyzing your situation and generating and tracking disputes; (b) communicate with the credit bureaus and furnishers where you direct; (c) process payments and manage your Membership; (d) send transactional emails such as welcome messages and dispute updates; (e) provide customer support; (f) maintain security and prevent fraud; and (g) comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. AI processing

To build your strategy and respond to your messages, the information you provide is processed by our AI account manager, which uses Anthropic's Claude model via a secure API. We do not permit your personal information to be used to train third-party AI models. AI output may be imperfect; you remain responsible for reviewing it.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service: with the credit bureaus and furnishers to process your disputes (at your direction); with service providers acting on our behalf (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Anthropic for AI), under contractual confidentiality obligations; when required by law or valid legal process; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to retention required by law.

8. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and minimization (for example, storing only the last four digits of your SSN). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; obtain a portable copy; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any right, contact us through the Contact page. We will verify your identity before responding.

10. Cookies & tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.

11. Children's privacy

The Service is intended only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it.

12. International users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the Service.
